Evan and Deesha

About

In Salem, Massachusetts, a little city known the world over for its magic, Evan’s and Deesha’s souls collided and, unbeknownst to them at the time, would be forever intertwined. Evan extended his hand to Deesha, and she took it. They wandered around Salem, going nowhere in particular, past puddles of mud, through a bizarre bazaar, and into a secret garden that, in early March, was not even sort of in bloom. Despite the muddy, flowerless garden, Evan and Deesha bloomed together. For Evan, Deesha provided all sorts of adventures; for Deesha, Evan was a source of laughter, reliability, and abundant kindness.

They had brunch at Mariel’s to celebrate the beginning of their ring-finding adventure. The couple knew Deesha’s artistic eye would crave a unique design. The two of them went to antique stores, many jewelry shops, gemstone artists, and even spoke with a few designers. Little did they know their perfect artisans were just around the corner at Bostonian Jewelers. The moment Deesha met Ali, she knew that this was a person who was entirely born for their craft. The Bostonian Jewelers team brought excitement, design, and one of the rarest gemstones no other jewelers could find. Deesha showed Ali a mere five reference photos and Ali’s mind began whirring instantly. Deesha’s engagement ring is a kite-cut light peach sapphire surrounded by ethically sourced diamonds in yellow gold fittings, perfect for an Indian bride. On the underside of that peach sapphire, Ali added an elegant art deco flower. Additionally, Deesha’s wedding band fits perfectly onto that kite cut shape and gives it a tasteful dash of sparkle. Evan’s wedding band is a yellow gold band with a relief featuring vining oak branches, complete with leaves and acorns, which is a nod to the tree in the backyard of his childhood home. In the center, we put a teal trillion cut sapphire to achieve a look that is both traditional and fantastical; perfect for an Indian bride’s groom. Overall, Ali excelled at design without compromising the safety of the stones and the rings. For making rings that are truly fit for both Deesha and Evan respectively, we have the team at Bostonian Jewelers to thank. These two artistic minds met their people who would enthusiastically deliver only the finest designs in the highest quality, which surpassed even their wildest dreams. We recommend Bostonian Jewelers regularly to everyone who asks about our pieces, and to anyone looking for unique, high-quality, awe-inspiring custom jewelry.

After extensive planning with Deesha’s sister, Evan proposed to Deesha at Larz Anderson Park, with a magnificent picnic among the willow trees. This groom-to-be waited patiently as Deesha giggled uncontrollably and excitedly for a solid eight minutes before finally saying yes. Thank you, Bostonian Jewelers, for giving us the start of Mr. and Mrs.!
